When the world was turned upside down in 2020, our paths crossed. Sofi was working in person, Felix was working from home, and we quickly became each other's comfort. There weren't many places to go or things to do, so we simply had each other. It's been that way ever since.

Having met in our early 20’s, we've grown up together in a lot of ways. We've celebrated the big things, carried each other through the hard things, and found plenty to laugh about in between. There have been late-night study sessions, existential crises, boxes that stayed unpacked a little too long, dreams achieved and dreams still being imagined… and a truly unreasonable amount of automotive misfortune.

Over the last six years, life has taken us from Houston to Laredo to Bryan, Texas, with a few moves, a lot of school, new jobs, and three furry hitchhikers joining us along the way. Through each new city and every new season, life around us kept changing, but we always had the steadiness of each other. Home stopped being a particular city or apartment and became wherever we were together.

4 moves,

3 dogs,

2 graduate programs (ongoing),

and countless memories,

there's only one number left:

1 forever.
